“ Virginia is truly a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight. The charming eatery features a cozy, intimate setting with only a handful of tables, creating an inviting atmosphere. The walls are adorned with a display of framed menus that add character and warmth to the space. Not only is the ambiance delightful, but the food offerings are exceptional as well. The Brussels sprouts are a standout dish—crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned to tantalize the taste buds. However, the real showstopper here is undoubtedly the burger. It's arguably the best in the city, although it would reach new heights if accompanied by a side of fries or chips. The patty itself is incredibly tender, and the layers of caramelized onions add a rich and savory sweetness that beautifully complements each bite. While the fries are decent, they don’t quite measure up to the burger's brilliance. I should also mention that our server was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable dining experience. Given the limited seating with around 15 tables, I strongly recommend making a reservation to guarantee your spot at this delightful restaurant. ”
“ Lovely burger that is made special with the bone marrow topping. Loved the juiciness of the burger while keeping ingredients intact. French toast was also very good and something I won’t forget soon. ”
“ Great little LES spot, perfect for a date. We’d come here to try their acclaimed burger and it certainly delivered! Thick juicy patty, great beefy flavor, Cabot cheddar, caramelized onions and OMG bone marrow aioli adding a wonderful richness. Definitely one of the best burgers in the city with the added plus that it’s a lot easier to get a booking here than at some other spots. Fries, while good, are a bit steep, so we shared one between the two of us along with a banana pudding for dessert, also decent. But that burger was awesome!! ”
“ Incredible meal. So good that before the entree arrived, I was already making a reservation for a few weeks out to return and bring my parents. We had to creme fraiche and French onion dip, hamachi crudo, Virginia burger (god tier) and the chocolate chip cookie. Cannot wait to order it all again ”
“ Wow!! It really is a gem in the East Village! Had dinner here last night and absolutely loved it. Really cute ambiance perfect for date night. My husband and I shared the gem salad, chips and dip, burger and fries, hamachi crudo and corn risotto. Cookie for dessert with espresso martini shots If i could only have the crudo and the burger every day for the rest of my life - I would. 1000/10 burger, probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. Great service as well, we loved our server Morgan she was really sweet. Great happy hour deals too. Can’t wait to come back! ”
“ I have had a great time at Virginia’s. I ordered its burger and it was amazing it makes the perfect match with all the ingredients it comes. The meat was really served on its point. I can say it is the best burger ever I tasted and the fries were very delicious and crunchy. The service was fast and kind. The server Fausto had disposition and good attitude to offer us an incredible dinner accompanied by all the rest of the staff. ”
“ I walked into Virginia’s because I was starving and desperate. I did not expect to eat one of the best meals of my life, and I consider myself a well-seasoned foodie. The Little Gem Salad is high on the list with the most fresh, zesty, delicious salads I’ve ever had. I was blown away, I ate every last bite of this thing. The only thing more incredible than the salad is what followed: Virginia’s Burger. I have no words to describe how absolutely stunning and gorgeous this burger is. It is so simple yet phenomenal. Everything about it is perfect. I can’t even begin to count the sheer number of burgers I’ve eaten in my life and this is undoubtedly the winner. Zero exaggeration, quite possibly one of the best restaurants in NYC. I can’t believe how lucky I was to stumble upon this place unexpectedly. Can’t stop singing its praises and can’t wait to go back to try everything else. Please GO!!! PS - the ambiance is cozy and quaint - so lovely; this place literally can’t get any better. ”
“ Maggie was such a doll. Super sweet and attentive. I had an Americano and it came quick, the place is clean. Good music playing. Overall nice vibes. ”
